Lead Vocalist

George Keres

On February 9, 1964, The Beatles made their historic U.S. debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. After watching his sister completely lose her mind over this relatively unknown rock ’n’ roll band, six-year-old George knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life: become a musician. At 17, he was a founding member of Down & Dirty, a blues band that had the opportunity to open for legendary bluesman John Lee Hooker. The blues continued to play a major role in George’s musical development, and at 18 he had the honor of playing in the backup band for another blues legend, Yank Rachell. The 1980s brought a new chapter. George became a founding member of Radio Ranch, performing at virtually all of the major clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including Bill Graham’s legendary nightclubs. The band also had the opportunity to open for Modern English. Next came Phoenix, where George and the band took home the KSJO radio station’s prestigious Best of the Bay Award. George then became a member of The 22nd Row, winners of MTV’s Basement Awards. The band went on to perform at many of the major clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, further establishing George as a seasoned and versatile musician. Over the years, George has had the honor of playing with Ronnie Montrose, as well as musicians who have played with the Steve Miller Band, Huey Lewis and the News, Mariah Carey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others.

Amidst the Tribute wave, George rallied the finest musicians in the SF Bay Area to revive the music of THE WHO, birthing The Pinball Wizards. George is looking forward to the next chapter—and the next musical journey—with The Pinball Wizards.

Bass Guitar & Vocals

Drums, vocals, percussion, more cowbell

From a young age, Matt has been fixated on hitting things with sticks—from pinatas to cue balls, to his first drum set purchased at age 11 with "paper route money.” Matt's influences are as diverse (Krupa, Copeland, Tommy Lee, ++) as the groups with whom he has performed and recorded Big Janitor (East Bay Grunge), The Diablo Symphony, SkaBone, DVC Jazz Band and Kingdom of Dirt. Matt is currently keeping the beat steady and enjoying the rhythm of life while living in Sonoma County

Matt Naworski

Charles Theobald

Keyboards & Vocals

Hailing from the great state of Colorado, Charlie's range of instruments and musical styles has evolved through 4 decades of music.  From country to alt metal, and from funk to new wave, his tastes have always favored music and people that have an edge, but also groove. With a focus of "making music", not reproducing it, Charlie continues to inspire and channel the spirit of rock that The Who embodied.  Keyboards are utilized in this band to sweeten and saturate the power of this great band and genre!
